Steak and Lobster
2 large Lobster tails
2 thick cut boneless RibEyes
1 stick of butter
1 lime
minced garlic
cracked pepper
Emeril's Original Essence
Preparation:
Marinate steaks for 8 hours with a squeeze of lime juice, sprinkle some Emeril's and grind some pepper - on both sides
When it's time to cook it all, put a little olive oil in a pan and start the steaks, Nine minutes on high flame on each side was just right for these.
Squeeze some lime juice in a small sauce pan and melt the stick of butter in it
In a large pan, boil a cup or two of water. When it's boiling, put the tails in and the lid on
Steam the tails for 6 or 8 minutes
Pull the tails out and, with scissors, cut along the back of the shell and pull the meat out. Leave the meat attached to the shell.
Brush Lobster meat with melted butter/lime and sprinkle a little minced garlic on them.
Place the Lobsters under the broiler until they are sizzeling and some edges are getting burnt.
Steaks should be done about the same time as the tails... enjoy!
