Picture Viewing Tips

Some of the pictures on this website are very large. That's just because I like big pictures. If your having to scroll over to see the larger pictures, here is the fix:

Internet Explorer 6 has taken steps to improve Web browser flexibility. A new and innovative capability that offers you more Web options is Automatic Image Resizing. If pictures are too large to display in your browser window, automatic resizing makes them fit. You no longer need to scroll horizontally or vertically to view large pictures. In addition, if you browse to pictures that fit within the browser window, but then change the window dimensions, Internet Explorer automatically adjusts the pictures to fit within the new window size.



Turn off/on Automatic Image Resizing

Internet options

At the top of an Internet Explorer window, click on Tools/Internet Options

 
Advanced settings

Click on the Advanced tab and scroll down to the Multimedia section. There is the box you can check or uncheck to enable Automatic Picture Resizing. You can also enable/disable the image toolbar here. I don't use it myself but you may like it.
